  • Holey Donuts Are Umm Umm Good

Our buddy, Frank, and his Holey Donuts, patented low-fat, low-calorie donuts, that were nominated by the Daily Candy as best new product, and are also the reason why the Fat Guy is checking in to rehab for donut addiction, have made the big time…..The Today Show!!!

Now they can include The Today Show and Dr. Fitness and The Fat Guy Radio Show on their resume. If you missed them this morning, check out their awesome website www.holeydonuts.net. This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy or a better pastry.

Congrats Frank! Let the good times roll!
  • Twittering, Eating, Twittering

Amazingly, the Fat Guy is being followed by over 30 people who are interested in what he eats each day. Who would have thought? Anyone can follow the Fat Guy's eating exploits on Twitter. If you haven't tried them, you should know that food journals are great ways to lose weight and the Fat Guy is always trying anything in order to lose those last 20 pounds. So, take a peek into his food diary. You never know what he'll write. Somehow he can stay compliant to writing on Twitter but he can't fit in exercise each day. That's right, moments after he eats something, the Fat Guy Twitters about it and you can follow him so that one day, if you try real hard, you too can look like the Fat Guy. Check out his eating at www.twitter.com/fatguy. And remember, you can Twitter, too.

  • Four Experts, One Goal

On the December 13th Dr. Fitness and the Fat Guy radio show, we met with four experts who are all into bettering the lives of others.

First, we got the skinny on how to live a blended life from Robert Tercek, President of PeopleJam, Dr Fitness' new favorite blog website. Check it out.

Kevin Valuzzi, one of New Jersey's favorite personal trainers and authors, talked about his new book, Stop The Fitness Confusion, which taps into the wisdom of over fifty top trainers and fitness experts to get their best fitness tips. Circuit-style interval training is highly recommended for people who're pressed for time and looking to burn more calories faster. This kind of workout allows you to burn calories all day long. Check out Kevin's site: www.thefitnessleader.com.

Kevin Betts, President of Fitness Together, talked to us next. Right now, there are over 600 Fitness Together franchises. Their philosophy is 1 Client 1 Trainer 1 Goal. At a Fitness Together studio, the client works one-on-one with their trainer in a suite that has all the equipment anyone would need to get a full body workout. Go to their website at www.fitnesstogether.com.

Then we had on Tina Vindum come in. Tina is an outdoor fitness expert and host of the radio show Outdoor Fitness on the Lime channel 114 on Sirius Satellite Radio. Tina talked about the importance of training outdoors in order to get one with nature and use the surroundings around you to get a wickedly effective workout. In San Francisco, she does outdoor classes with her clients first thing in the morning. Picture yourself at the crack-of-dawn, surrounded by the glow of the rising sun, running through the woods with the skyline of San Francisco in front of you as sweat is pouring off your body. Pretty cool, huh? Find Tina, her accredited Outdoor Training classes and her radio show at www.outdoorfitness.com.

As always we had more laughs, more info and more fun than any other health, fitness, weight loss podcast out there. Don't forget to check out the Doctor Fitness and the Fat Guy blog at www.weightlossradio.blogspot.com for more tips about weight loss and Dr. Shafran's analysis of all things health and fitness.
